Assessing Training Programs

Most local government operations are "people driven" enterprises.  People related expenses comprise the lion's share of the department's budget and the quality of service citizens receive is directly related to the quality of the people providing those services.  Consequently, effective training programs are essential to the overall effectiveness of local governments.  Berkshire Advisors assesses the effectiveness of local government training programs in improving the level and quality of services the government provides.  Training objectives and strategies are evaluated.  In addition, the extent to which existing in-service, new employee, and managerial training programs cost-effectively address desired objectives is also evaluated.
